Ana Espindola Garzon

My name is Ana Espindola, and I am a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy student graduating in 2026. I am a proud first-generation immigrant, born in Mexico. I moved to the United States at the age of five. My journey into physical therapy was inspired by personal experiences while playing volleyball and softball. This sparked my interest in the field and its impact on promoting recovery.

I am deeply committed to advocacy and improving access to healthcare resources, particularly for those within the Latino community. As someone who has experienced these challenges, I am passionate about addressing disparities and ensuring equitable care. Physical therapy resonates with me because it emphasizes preventative care, and empowering individuals to advocate for their health.
