
Miriam Flores Moreno was born in Guanajuato, Mexico, and raised by agricultural working parents in Tri-Cities, Washington. She is a first-generation college student who graduated from the University of Washington (UW) with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health in 2018 and an Epidemiology Master of Public Health in the Spring of 2022. Miriam is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology and plans to graduate in 2026. Miriam’s research interests include social determinants of health, occupational health, Latinx, and agricultural workers’ health.
