Magali Sanchez

Magali Sanchez is a current PhD Candidate in Epidemiology at the University of Washington. She is deeply interested in improving vaccine uptake, resource allocation, and social determinants of health. Prior to her doctoral studies, she spent nearly ten years working in public and community health, including roles at Sea Mar Community Health Centers and Seattle and King County Public Health. In addition to her research, she works as the Evaluation and Data Management Lead for Nuestro Valor, an intervention study that promotes fruit and vegetable intake among Latinos in rural Washington. As a first-generation college graduate, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Washington.
