  • Mentorship opportunities with faculty and community leaders
  • Professional development through research presentations, writing workshops, and policy engagement

Fellows are expected to conduct research related to Latinx health and to contribute to the Center’s mission of advancing health equity.

Small Grants Program

The Latino Center for Health’s Small Grants Program provides seed funding to support innovative, community-engaged research that addresses pressing health issues affecting Latinx populations in Washington state and beyond. These grants are designed to:

  • Foster collaborations between academic researchers and community partners
  • Support pilot studies that can lead to larger, externally funded projects
  • Generate data and insights that directly inform policy and practice

Award amounts typically range from $5,000–$10,000, and priority is given to projects that promote health equity, community participation, and sustainability.
